Jared had a heart transplant when he was 6 months old, he is now 16 and going to be a junior at Camp Verde High School. loves to help people and will talk to all the kids on the cancer floor. Jared is an amazing kid he loves video game designing, he takes digital media in high school and he likes to create and draw.
Jared was just diagnosed with PTLD (post transplant lymphoproliferative disease) He will need chemo not sure for how long yet but they have to lower his heart rejection Meds to fight the cancer which means high risk of losing the heart.
This young man has an amazing spirt. We are asking for your help. Jared’s Mother and Father both work full time, earlier this year Jared’s mother Lisa had to take several months off from work for her own health issues. Lisa has used up all of her vacation and sick time at work and has been let go. Funds will greatly help in the weeks ahead as she and Jared must travel to Phx weekly for treetments.
